• OFF GRID glamping experience without electricity but with all the necessities.
• IDEAL for couples or solo retreats.
• ENERGY provided with at least 1000W QUIET battery generator (Jackery brand). We are at the mercy of the sky for recharging during your stay. Live with purpose. 1000 watts is enough for a week if you throttle down busy life. Take the Low Energy Challenge!
• BEDROOM queen bed dressed in seasonal bedding. Featuring a bay window with beautiful nature view from your bed.
• BATHROOM indoor with simple, odorless dry toilet, hot shower, shampoo, soap.
• SHOWER is quick to heat with a constant supply of hot water from 275 gallon indoor water tank. Towels, soap supplied.
• KITCHEN provides place settings for 4. Butane single burner cooktop. Pots, pans. Paper towels. Dining pub table for 2.
• HEATING provided from gravity fed pellet stove: Liberator Rocket Heater. You control the heat. You fill the pellets (40 lb bag to lift. Lasts 10 hours). We supply pellets during winter.
• COOLING low voltage fan to distribute air from front door. 8 ft vents in the bathroom and kitchen open during summer. *No air conditioning.
• CELL SERVICE is obtainable in the dome by some carriers. But I hesitate to tell you that. Put it down for a sec ;)
• NO WIFI take this opportunity to unplug. Let nature be your television. Views are amazing.
• COOLER portable available. *Use dry ice if a freezer option is needed. No refrigerator.
• LIGHTING throughout. Rechargeable + remote control. Sunlight/Moonlight pours into the dome.
• GRILL on the deck with our Blackstone Griddle.
• HAMMOCKS 2 under the cabin for sleeping, napping, absorbing the sunset or star gazing.
• COFFEE provided. Pour over coffee maker.
• DRINKING WATER supplied with our Berkey filter system.
• PARKING single beside dome. Low rise stairs leading to dome. Additional parking available upon request.
• WINTER if ice/snow, will require AWD as we do not snow plow the gravel drive.
• PACK and dress for the weather. Just like camping, if it's warm/cold outside it will be a bit warm/cold inside. House shoes and dog bed recommended for winter. Floor gets chilly due to elevation of dome.
• CANCELLATIONS due to life threatening weather is permitted. Chat with us about your circumstance.
Guest accessThe dome is all yours and so is the view.
Roam until you see a fence line whether it be a downed fence or functioning fence.
We often have other guests at the entrance of property. Please be respectful of their privacy.

Nothing will be perfect except the unique experience: You may have to lift a 40 lb bag of pellets into the stove for heat. You may have to swap over a propane tank outside. You might get hot. You might get cold. You might see bugs. You might see a snake in the Woods. Whatever MO has to offer, that's what you'll get. It's amazingly rewarding.
• Our family lived here for a month while it was being knitted together by us. We built the dome as a family (all 6 of us) and everything in it (excluding the deck foundation). We know this place from inside out and created it with our guests comfort in mind. The Snow Globe functions best when it's full of love.
• Experience the immersion in nature that comes with camping, but without the hassle of necessary gear and setting up a tent. We provide bed linens, shower towels. Basic cooking supplies including: drinking water, pots & pans, biodegradable soap, utensils, pour over coffee pot & coffee, tea, sugar. Basic pantry items like salt, pepper, and cooking oil.
• Pet requirements include:
1. Up to two dogs allowed
2. cannot be on linens: bedding, pillows, blankets, towels
3. Cannot be on furniture: including chairs or bed
4. won't chew furniture
5. potty trained
6. must be crated while you are away
7. pick up after pup around dome perimeter. No need to pickup in the woods
8. non-refundable pet fee of $50 for first dog, $25 for second dog

Neighborhood overviewNature is your neighborhood. The Dome is snuggled in the Woods.
We own an Airbnb cottage a few acres away. Guests should be considerate of each other.
Nearby houses are close in case of emergency but not within view of the dome. It is possible that you hear traffic and neighbors from time to time but they are not seen.
You have our permission to walk around naked ;)

Getting aroundYou are only 9 min from the town center or Wal-Mart.
The Dome in the Woods is off a paved road on a gravel right-of-way that leads to our land.
One parking area nearest The Dome. More parking available upon request.
A vehicle is needed at this location.
Restaurants, shopping, and trails available in sweet small town Perryville or surrounding larger cities.
